Summary:
• Completes assessments, and prepares a service plan to meet the needs of the client including both Catholic Charities programs and other available community resources.
• Evaluates, facilitates and monitors services and client progress in relationship to established goals and objectives. Works with the client to adjust service plans as necessary, and remove barriers to success.
• Supports and advocates on behalf of client in the procurement of services and benefits entitlement.
• Makes referrals to and coordinates appropriate community resources for client.

CLIENT ADVOCATE I
Dorothy Day Center -- Part Time, 20 hours/week
Family Service Center -- On-Call
Mary Hall -- On Call
$12.25 to $13.25 per hour
SUMMARY:
• Maintain a clean, safe and secure environment for clients.
• De-escalate any volatile altercations among those we serve.
• Check all clients upon entry to the facility to ensure safe environment for all.
• Provide resource and referral information on a wide variety of topics, including housing, employment, healthcare, etc.
• Communicate information regarding clients and programmatic concerns both in writing and verbally to other staff.
• Ensure rules and policies are enforced consistently within agency guidelines.
• Attend all required training.
• Complete regular rounds, checking all exits, fire doors, and safety equipment, along with monitoring residents’ activities in common areas to ensure safety and security.
• Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement and Safety Committee meetings.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• B.A. degree and three years of experience or without B.A., minimum of five years experience with culturally diverse/homeless population. Chemical dependency work preferred.
• Ability to handle difficult situations in a sensitive and caring manner.
• Experience with people of culturally diverse backgrounds, diverse economic culture, chemical dependency, mental health issues, de-escalation, crisis intervention, conflict resolution, customer service, withholding confidential information, and understanding of generational poverty.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check in order to work with vulnerable adults, per Minnesota state law, and notify supervisor of any and all activities that could potentially affect criminal background.

CLIENT ADVOCATE III Located at Family Service Center
$31,345 to $38,555 annually
Summary:
• Conduct an initial needs assessment of eligible clients who are at imminent risk of homelessness in assigned program area.
• Assist with eligibility assessment and determination for potential clients seeking homeless prevention services.
• Create and develop an individually tailored case plan for each client for homeless prevention assistance.
• Determine the appropriate stabilization services to include in a client’s case plan.
• Administer financial assistance to eligible clients for rent arrearages and/or utility bills when appropriate.
• Provide clients with housing relocation assistance including application fee, damage deposit and/or first month’s rent when appropriate.
• Negotiate with landlord and family members to prevent homelessness and mitigate landlord/tenant disputes when appropriate.
• Connect clients to other community resources including but not limited to: employment and training programs, food shelves, public assistance, SSI and SSDI, childcare, transportation, subsidized housing opportunities and legal assistance.
• Facilitate client’s access to services from other providers by directly making referrals and assisting with paperwork and transportation to referral services when appropriate.
• Responsible for collection and compilation of necessary data and information for program reports and evaluation and reporting to funders.
• Provide outreach to community service agencies and service providers on homelessness prevention.
• Work in collaboration with community partners and Rapid Re-Housing team to provide comprehensive services to homeless families and families who are at imminent risk of homelessness.
• Develop and utilize Empowerment principles and support the use of Restorative Justice and Harm Reduction within the program.
• Assist Manager in facilitating involvement with other community programs in order to promote Catholic Charities’ services and establish strong community networks and partnerships .
Minimum Qualifications: • B.A. in human services field, plus (4) four years experience working with homeless or low income population preferred. In lieu of degree, (10) ten years experience working with this specific population in a similar role. All candidates must have (2) years experience in case management or outreach.
• Working knowledge of resources for housing.
• Experience working with persons from various cultural backgrounds.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to handle difficult situations in a sensitive and caring manner.

BILLING REPRESENTATIVE- FT
Seton Services
$13.75 to $16.95 per hour
Summary:
• Compute and prepare invoices, reimbursement claims, and other billing forms for clients or other funding sources in coordination with the program manager and Accounting Department.
• Request authorizations for medical procedures from various payers
• Verify client insurance information
• Coordinate with the Accounting Department to ensure that all pertinent information is being shared between the program and CCAC.
• Code and verify cash receipts on the computer before the final billings are run each month for each program.
• Monitor accounts receivable continually, prepare additional statements when required.
• Create spreadsheets as necessary.
• Provide various general ledger tasks for assigned areas or sites.
• Assist Program Managers with Quarterly and CQI data.
• May update Roster twice per month to ensure facility and tenant security.
Minimum Qualifications:
• A.A. degree in Accounting or Finance, with a minimum of three years experience in similar position. Without degree, must have minimum of 7 years experience directly related to the job functions.
• Prefer candidate with medical insurance billing experience.
• Extensive computer experience required; including advanced level experience with Microsoft Word, Access, and Excel.
• Ability to drive a personal vehicle with a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record. Able to produce current auto insurance policy.
• Statistical typing and ability to use a 10 key calculator.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff, funders, and other agency personnel.
• Knowledge of keeping demographics and completing statistical reports.

CUSTODIAN – 8 hours per week (Sundays)
Family Service Center
$11.00 to $13.35 per hour
Summary: • Clean up the building interior, exterior and surrounding areas.
1. Sweep/wash down public areas in the building (lobby, dining room, children leaning center, front desk area, clinic, laundry, and bathrooms) 2-3 times /day
2. Vacuum public areas (hallway, conference room, and office areas) 2-3 time/day
3. Clean residents’ rooms area as soon as they are vacant
4. Pick up trash laying of the sidewalks adjacent to the building
5. Pick up trash in the playground, empty the garbage containers and periodically sweep/wash down the area (this includes disposal of cigarette butts);
6. Clean up trash in the loading area including garbage that has been removed from the garbage containers.
• Take garbage from public & office areas out to the dumpster; also take cardboard out to the recycling dumpster for cardboard.
• Take care of hard floor maintenance/ kitchen floor scrub/ carpet shampoo as needed.
• Shovel & snow blow the front entrance and sidewalk areas as needed.
• Keep the playground free of weeds on a weekly basis and mow the lawn as needed.
• Report any building maintenance/equipments problems to Supervisor.
• Perform simple maintenance duties as requested by Supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous hospital or large building cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work around all types of individuals and in occupied areas.
• Must possess good janitorial skills and be a self-starter.

MANAGER, ANNUAL GIVING Catholic Charities Administration Center
$48,600 to $56,000
Summary: • Maintain knowledge of Catholic Charities programs and projects and be able to articulate the case for support to donors through multiple communications methods.
• Plan, create and implement strategies to achieve annual giving and retention goals to raise a minimum of $1.8 million in annual support.
• Manage the solicitation of approximately 15,000 annual donors to increase support for Catholic Charities through telemarketing, direct mail and online giving.
• Serve as the main contact for annual fund donors and maintain updates on all prospects.
• Manage an aggressive donor acquisition campaign to significantly increase the number of annual donors.
• Develop and maintain a portfolio of major gift or high-level annual fund donor for personal solicitation and stewardship, meeting annual visit goals and develop long-term relationships.

Minimum Qualifications:
