Giving Tree Offers Opportunity for Holiday Volunteering Catholic Charities' Giving Tree program provides holiday gifts for children, teens and adults in need in the Twin Cities.
Stop by the Giving Tree in Bloomingdale's Court at the Mall of America between now and Dec. 23. Ornaments on the trees list holiday items requested by homeless and low-income community members.
It's easy to participate As you shop for family and friends at the mall, stop by the Giving Tree in Bloomingdale's Court. Pick out an ornament, shop for the item listed and return the unwrapped holiday gift to the Giving Tree. The gifts range in size and cost, from winter hats and gloves for the homeless to bath towels or sheets for a family moving into their own apartment. Your gifts go directly to children, adults and families in need in the Twin Cities. You can also make a financial contribution in any amount.
Great holiday volunteer opportunity Volunteers are needed to staff the Giving Tree booth daily. As a volunteer, you'll help shoppers choose ornaments and collect the unwrapped items. Training is included. You may help once or multiple times throughout the month. Small groups and individuals are encouraged to apply.
