The 2026 legislative session began on February 17 and is in full swing! This session, our focus is to protect investments in the Permanent Supportive Housing system. Permanent Supportive Housing – affordable housing paired with supportive services – is a proven solution to homelessness. Yet, despite investments by the legislature in 2023, the funding for permanent supportive housing programs is not stable, increasing the risk that residents might fall back into homelessness.
