Donor-advised fund giving

Make a tax-efficient gift wherever the need is greatest.

Give where it matters most

Donor-advised funds (DAFs) are a simple, flexible, and tax-efficient way to manage your charitable donations. DAFs allow donors to make a charitable contribution, receive an immediate tax deduction, and then recommend grants from the fund over time to help Catholic Charities Twin Cities serve our most vulnerable neighbors.

Gifts made to Catholic Charities Twin Cities through DAFs can be designated wherever the need is greatest or to service areas that match your interest. As a critical part of the region’s social and civic infrastructure, Catholic Charities Twin Cities provides support for people in many different ways, including emergency shelters, affordable housing, children and family services, and older adult programs.

Your gifts in action

Roland is a natural storyteller who loves to laugh and will always greet you with a smile and a joke. He is from the Midwest, has experienced long-term homelessness, and describes himself as a “survivor.”

Roland credits Catholic Charities’ Dorothy Day Place for providing him with the resources he needed to secure a place of his own again – for the first time in over a decade.
