Brighter futures for stronger communities

Catholic Charities Twin Cities plays a crucial role in promoting child well-being and protecting vulnerable populations. We are on a mission to provide essential support, resources, and intervention services to families facing challenges.

By addressing these issues early on, children and family services can prevent negative outcomes and help children thrive in safe and supportive environments.

Emergency family shelter

Refuge in times of crisis

When there is nowhere else to turn, Catholic Charities provides families with a safe, stable place to sleep and get back on their feet. From shelters for families and youth who are experiencing homelessness to on-site medical and dental care, we work to identify needs and streamline services to help our neighbors regain independence and achieve housing stability.

Early education and parent support

Generational stability and opportunity

Catholic Charities is dedicated to providing comprehensive support for children and their families, fostering a strong foundation for lifelong success. Through early childhood education and parenting support, we nurture child development and empower families. Working with schools and community partners, we ensure children have the resources and opportunities they need to thrive academically.

Mental health support

Building brighter futures

With a trauma-informed lens, we support children in the Twin Cities metro area who are struggling to cope with difficult emotions and situations. We provide a range of services, including skills development, individual and group therapy, and family psychoeducation and support. Our goal is to help children develop the skills and resilience they need to heal from past trauma and reach their full potential.
